Anyone bought strangers mounts for your wall?

Started doing euros with our deer unless it is bigger than what is on the wall already. Even decorated our men's Sunday school room with mounts we've taken down and replaced.

I doubt many of us painted the art/took the pictures that hang on our walls.

If somebody asks who shot it say all but that one right there. Make a BS story up about it.

I have a BUNCH, and they are all critters I killed. Have 4 at the taxidermist now. With all of mine, I don’t have room for anyone else’s mounts in my house.

I have been contemplating selling mine with plans of downsizing significantly when I retire. I went to South Africa few years ago and had all the animals shipped home and they are still in the crate.

I've got a couple that were close family member's, but none from strangers. Don't mean much to me unless I killed it. Kinda reminds me of the guys that buy duck bands so they can show off to the rest of the part timers.

I killed 2 birds with one stone(no pun intended) when it comes to this. I shot a bobcat awhile back and got it mounted reaching up for a bird. The problem is I was a broke college student at the time and never got around to mounting a bird. I had a beer can on there for awhile until my wife’s uncle saw it. He had a banded teal that was in his garage that he insisted I take. Now I wouldn’t change that bird out even if I shot something awesome.
