I got a mole spike out today on a fresh tunnel. Also gonna take my dog down there later and see what she might dig up.
Folks on the neighborhood board telling me to put juicy fruit gum in the tunnels to kill them.

That’s moles. Get you a gopher hawk trap and get after them suckers

Been moving a spike trap around for a week now with no results. I pushed two packs of juicy fruit gum down in the tunnels today. Apparently that’s a thing.

Side note: have not had a stick of juicy fruit since childhood and it is delightful[emoji23]

That's moles. Go to one of your box stores and buy mole worms. They work great. I break mine in half so I can put them in the ground in more places. I use an arrow and poke a hole into the run and push the work down and lightly cover the hole I made.

Possums ain't bad. This is Scruffy, our semi tame possum eating laying pellets the chickens have missed. He doesn't bother any thing.

We have five dogs that we rescued from the neighbor - he was gonna shoot em and the Momma dog was providing for them. When she finds a Possum she'll crunch it up and spit it out - my guess is they eat puppies?

Unless they eat ticks after they get on them. I guess that could be.....I don't know but that thing was a tick hotel.
I've heard this forever too and a few months ago I finally read about the study that made this claim. They stuck a possum in an inclosure with a bunch of ticks and the possum ate X ticks in X hours. So they said a possum will eat ******XX ticks a year.
