Thank you all again. Today he wondered out loud if his brain would ever be right, but to me that means it will. IMO all the drugs are clouding his thought process. He doesn't speak but a few words per day, but he has progressed faster and better than I could ever have imagined 11 days ago. As I stated earlier, only time will tell.

Tell him "Yes it will!" And tell him we are all praying for his healing.



I still remember to this day my every split second thoughts and actions when I was hit the first time, back in Jan 31, 1971. And all that ensued. My body stopped 142 feet from the point of impact.

Yes sir. 2nd time was the Saturday after Thanksgiving '97. Broke the posterior half of my left hip socket off and dislocated the femur towards my spine on that one. Had to detach the glutes to put a perforated SS strap and 6 screws in.

I've been blessed with over 25 fractures in my lifetime from different incidents. Some have been from cycling.

Some blessings are not pleasant to experience. But they all have a purpose. And ya can't let a horse keep a cowboy out of the saddle just because he gets thrown.

The fish are biting, and there's hogs to be kill-t. Gotta go!
