    Tactacam issues

I bought one Tactacam XB and SK, the SK has worked great so far but my XB has had a few issues and I am curious if anyone has experienced similar issues with their Tactacam or other cameras. I bought a solar panel from amazon (link below) and the solar panel is fully charged but the cord will get loose and the camera will say its dead. When I go back out and push the cord in the camera shows 100% battery. I have ordered a new chord to run from the solar panel to the camera and will try that but if that doesn't work I may just order the solar panel from Tactacam.

I also just got an email this morning from Tactacam saying my SD card is 90% full and that I will need to clear pictures. I have it set up on loop so I didn't think this should happen?

Don’t worry about the emails if you’re set on loop. You will get memory full emails often. The card will just erase the old ones.

I have 6 cameras on solar panels and haven’t had the issue you have. I run two Tactacams panels and four Reaktor panels from Illusive Wildlife

Good to know on the emails, thanks. I searched all the posts on here for Tactacam before I bought and saw several folks using that solar panel I bought and it has good reviews. I am not sure if its just the cord, or something with the camera insert for the cord. I will just need to probably order a different solar panel to see if that works. I know the solar panel is fully charged because it has a button to check.

I believe that most solar panels come with multiple cables, or at least the Reaktors do, due to different brands using different sized ports.

Is it possible you're using a cable that's close to the same size but a little off, allowing it to eventually drop out? Just throwing it out there because if it did come with multiple cables and you still have them, you could try a different one instead of having to buy a new panel.

I am pretty sure only one of the cables would even fit so I am pretty sure I have the right one in but wouldn't hurt to double check.

If you’re on FB join their page. Their tech guys are very helpful, and Facebook is by far the fastest way to get it. In fact they are the only reason I’d got back on Facebook.
