We have 2 and both work great.
The first I bought I'm pretty sure came from South Texas but the second is from an online store and it's very similar. The cables are inside the tube and that is a plus for us anyway.
    We also carry a hook.

I use a shovel. First the edge, and then the tray....

Our son has a snake collection so we,I, have been building snake hides for us to flip and check under. It’s a pain in the arse. It if it brings some happiness into his life I’m down with it.

I use the same one as wytex. It's great. I primarily use the 60" version but they also have 47" one. Available on Amazon

I use the 40" Mid West Tongs. Stainless cables inside the tube. Catcher part is smooth and won't hurt the snakes for when you get the friendly kind.
                Very well-built product.

I would be looking for a set of 20’ long ones.

Yep, I want the battery operated ones that electrocutes the snake when the tongs close, then burns them to a crisp!!!

Best on the market in my opinion and use them often when relocating snakes.

I totally forgot to look yesterday, fairly certain I have one you can borrow for the duration of the job. I'll look at home this evening.

They don't make them long enough for me.
