We've had a great year so far this spring with Life and Liberty. We've taken some great vets and kids, but one hunt was by far one of the coolest we've ever done. We've had the pleasure to take almost 100 vets from the Iraq/Afghanistan wars since we started, but this year we were able to set up an awesome hunt with 2 vets from Iraq/Afghanistan as well as one from Vietnam and one from World War II. It was a blast! Bob (WW2) and his grandson Tyr flew him from Oregon and Dave (Vietnam) and his son Casey came from Ohio. It was absolute honor to meet and hang out with these guys for a couple days of exotic hunting. Bob struck first with his 70+ year old 30-06 that he brought along, original scope and all. He killed a great scimitar bull the first evening. Casey also got it done on Friday with a zebra right before dark!
Dave followed up the next day with another nice scimitar and Tyr wrapped up the weekend Sunday with a great velvet axis buck.
Here's are handful of pics from the other kid and vet hunts from this spring so far too. Looking forward to the fall hunts already!
