The crazed man who tackled comedian Dave Chappelle at his Hollywood Bowl performance Tuesday night will not face any serious charges, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office says.

Instead, 23-year-old Isaiah Lee will face a possible misdemeanor charge, the DA’s office said Thursday, according to CBSLA.

Police said after Lee tackled Chappelle, he pulled out a replica gun that also had a real knife blade attached. The Los Angeles Times reported Lee did not brandish the knife but rather it was found in his bag.

The LAPD had charged the attacker with assault with a deadly weapon, a felony.

That DA will let ANY criminal off… I think all the criminals he lets off the hook should be released in his neighborhood, see how long he keeps letting them go.
