    Just curious, since it’s a low level pond and you have ability to flood it, why not rice?
    Ive just never had good luck with rice. The Waterfowl mix im planting in june has a little bit of rice in it but mostly millet. I will still flood the millet closer to duck season.

      Looks good.
      I would put some shrubs or small fast-growing trees in, in strategic places for cover. Much more appealing to ducks than building blinds. The more natural look, the better.
      Are you letting it fill with water naturally or pump?

        I can do either. It only takes 2 good rains to fill it up the 6 -10 inches i keep it at. Right now i have the drain open so when i want to flood it later ill just close the drain and wait for some rain or pump it in from my other deeper pond
