            My Maverick is almost 10 years old, and no complaints so far. When it's time to replace it, I'm going with Meater, based on my research.

            Love my Thermapen, though!

                i have a termo pro for spot checks and a Meater for long cooks ..as well as a thermo pro wireless so far all work fine

                    Follow up. Ordered Friday delivered Friday. Cooked Friday night and Saturday. My grilled chicken is always good but with this thing it was way better.
                    Steaks on Saturday and Thermopro was perfect. What a great find and thanks for the recommendation. Will make great Christmas gifts.
