Keep what you got....Is the answer.../ You do not have to have the new .... Prices will not come down when people keep buying NEW. Keep driving what you have!!!

Crazy. My '20 F250 has right at 60k on the odometer. It's an XLT premium package. Stickered at 65k, I paid 57k two years ago. They keep offering me 65+ to buy it back or trade it in! But I'm dang sure not paying 75 or more for a new one. And I need a truck so I'm keeping her

This time last year I bought a new 2021 lariat F-250 Tremor 6.7 liter for $72k. Sticker was $74-75k.

How are they justifying that for a used F-250 with the little gas motor?

I’ve never been able to buy from them before, but what the hell, maybe changes have been made. . Nope ! They had a 2021 Lariet F250 that I liked, in acolor I liked, with almost 17K miles. It also had a 6.2 gas engine. They were asking $74995 for it. They want to give me $26000 for my 2018 F150 with a 5.0 and 75K miles. My truck is in very good shape with a Leer camper top on it. That’s bad enough but when going to their website you can view the sticker from this truck when it was new. The original sticker price was around $57K and a year later they wanted $75K ??? Bullchit, and I told him so. This isn’t really a rant because I expected them to be too high, just not outrageously high.

Sounds like you will have better luck selling on facebook market place for a competitive but fair price

May just be that dealer having a plumb market and zero need to play softball for customers.

No lie here. Every time I take my 2020 tundra to get oil change they offer me what I paid for it. I paid cash for mine and man it’s tempting to upgrade but not in this market.

I ordered a 250 7.3 Lariat Tremor last October for $62K and some change. It’s finally arriving here in a week or two. Sticker on it was $67*** at the time of order. That same truck now would be a sticker price right over $70K, and I’d be lucky to get it for less than MSRP IF ordered. Buying it off the lot I’d be paying well over sticker.

Well since I ordered the truck my situation has changed and I no longer need it. I’ll have a new company truck for personal use soon, and won’t need the truck. That said I’m still buying it just so it can sit in my garage earning 2-3K miles a year and be paid off like new. I can’t imagine trucks will be getting any cheaper any time in the future, and I’d rather buy this one now with my current F350 still being valued in the mid fifties and all equity with 90K miles on it. If I was to have to purchase off the lot I’d go park my 350 back in my driveway and keep on with it. No way I’d be paying what they’re asking for MSRP+.

Where are all the guys who said Ford (etc) will be “giving away” trucks in 2022 when they finally get them built? .

Ain’t happening lol materials cost and labor costs have skyrocketed.Even if you didn’t have buyers for them they still couldn’t produce the truck cheap enough to get to pre covid pricing.

Everything is going nuts. Last fall I sold a used 2018 Polaris side by side, 900 for $15,000.00. I paid $14,000.00 for it new. The guy that bought it never drove it. Started it up looked at my son nd said I will take it. I took my 2020 F 150 in for an oil change at the Ford dealer the other day and they drove me nuts trying to buy it back. Almost every truck on the lot for sale was used uncluding Dodges and Chevy's.

Bill McRae is awesome to deal with. I bought my last truck there.

80 year financing is right around the corner. “Get in a 100,000 dollar vehicle for just 125.00 a month”.
