    Tundra Experts

Thieves made the first cut ahead of my passenger side catalytic converters before I walked out of Katy mills mall yesterday (about 2pm on a busy Saturday) and caught them in the act, they drove off before I could reach them.

Question is will all the warning lights/codes that came on during my very loud drive home go away after I reset and patch the cut? The cut is clean and straight and nothing else was damaged that I can see.

Katy PD was wonderful btw, and had a suspect within 5 minutes from my description and video footage. It’s bad out there…

Saw those, think I’m going to do a plate, thanks. Why’d you go with that over a plate?

Dustybritches started a thread on them. My Tundra is 19 years old and no one makes a plate for it. Been looking for a solution for 18 months. These take a 5 minute job to a 30 minute mess. This company has a motion detector that is screaming loud. I still may buy it - and it might be all you really need.

I went with the plate installed by Toyota Country off Hwy 249.

I have yet to get the oil changed since installing it so I’m not sure how big a pain that will be.

Had exhaust welded yesterday, cleared all the codes and drove 200 miles, so far so good. Appreciate the help.
