Last summer i acquired the little 14’ alweld i grew up fishing in with my Dad. Has a 1998 25hp Yamaha tiller motor. I got the idea to build out a deck and finally finished it up. Still need to i stall a hatch, but
my wife and son have been hitting me up non-stop to go as often as possible.
Lake Raven at Huntsville State Park is 5 minutes up the road, so thats our usual spot.
Bass have been pretty good and are finished spawning. We hammered them the last couple trips with several bream and a few slabs mixed in as well.
We are greatly enjoying the use of the boat with a trolling motor and some electronics courtesy of my BIL.
I see Panoptics in my future. Time to get serious for some slabs.
