        Heck no it’s Passover

        It’s Passover today !
        1. Because the Torah allows eating only animals that both chew their cud and have cloven hooves, pork is prohibited. So are shellfish, lobsters, oysters, shrimp and clams, because the Old Testament says to eat only fish with fins and scales

2 . On the menu for Seder is

        1. Chazaret ( bitter root)
        2. Chagigah ( roasted egg)
        3. Karpas ( greens)
        4. Maror ( bitter herb )
        5. Matzah ( unleavened bread )

“” Passover, or Pesach, which retells and celebrates the story of the Israelites being freed from slavery in Egypt, is a favorite holiday. At its heart is the seder, an intricate ritual and meal filled with songs, specialized food (don't miss the matzo ball soup!), and Big Springtime Energy.””
It’s a sin to eat crawfish during the holy days

I had always been curious about the prohibition of pork during Passover and was completely ignorant of the distinction between eating fish with fins and scales versus all other seafood until you shared this. Thanks for the education. There’s nothing better than feeling more enlightened about the world around you!

This Passover stuff is for Jews. Christians don't have to follow this. It is said in the New Testament that we can eat all things, all is good. So, enjoy yourself eating ctawfish, they look great!
