    $4.45 a foot?!

That’s what the man doing our dozer work said was the cost of running a barbed wire fence. Stunned is an understatement. We’re in Robertson county. Is that the going rate now?

Probably need to put one of those little biden stickers next to that price

That's about right. Was $3.00/ft plus clearing a year ago.

        I’m sure hoping that’s a high estimate!

In the areas where the fires recently burned Eastland and Erath counties I’m hearing of quotes ranging from $10-$15 per foot.

I don't believe it will. Materials are expensive,, labor is expensive and we have fiat currency in play. Preacher man said its the end of time. . .. When we hit recession I still think prices will remain high on most goods/services.

When we had our fence done in 2019, barb wire cost as much as field fence. The guy said the materials were more for field fence but barb wire was more work. We went with field fence at $4.25 / ft.

If I could weld I'd do it for $3.50ft.
