All day! I've hauled dozens of one yard loads of dirt, damp sand, creek rock, and decomposed granite in the bed of my 1/2 ton. I did keep my highway speeds down to about 60 out of caution, but probably didn't need to.

I’ve hauled two yards of soil in my Tundra many times. It fills the bed completely up and she squats a little but she gets it done.
