I picked up a Highway 1 sunburst Telecaster at a pawn shop last month. It had some Fralin Blues Special pickups in it. I took those out and put in a set of Monty's DP51s. They're not as hot as the Fralins. Sweet tone.
Then I saw a cool looking reliced Thinline body on Reverb that I couldn't resist. So I bought that along with a neck and all the hardware. I mean, the Fralin pickups were just laying around naked, alone and afraid. What was I supposed to do? They needed a home and a purpose. This parts caster will do.
Zach took her for a spin as soon as I got it all put together.
