I know voting has closed but I don't want there to be any hanging shads. So in the order of their use.

Since the mods didn't close the thread, and Chew has been unsuccessful in bringing it to a voting conclusion, I'm left to deduce that Chew's rules were more what you would call guidelines than actual rules.

So, since the topic was freshwater, I always call it a bobber except those instances when I call it a cork. And any fly fisherman who calls it a bobber, and not an indicator, should just throw their fly rod in the river and walk away.
