This fire is from downed powerlines. It’s currently around 5700 acres burned, 212 houses, and sadly 2 fatalities of an elderly couple that didn’t make it out.

80 plus mph winds took down countless trees and powerlines.
Damage is unbelievable, and still not contained. Long recovery from this one.

My brother has a vacation rental house up there, he's friendly with Phil Hamilton (the singer) who also has a house up there and so far, both are still standing.
