Del Rio weather this weekend

Good lawd it’s going to be hot.

Highs near 100 on Sat and Sun out there…supposed to be 102 tomorrow.

Annnnddddd it’s only April!

Hunted in 90+ degrees and high winds this past weekend in Coleman…..miserable turkey conditions I can tell you that!!

Went to my lease in Kinney County this last weekend, the weather was super nice! It was 41 degrees Saturday morning. It did get a little warm in the afternoon, but it wasn't oppressive. We built a pen at one of my feeders, wanted to try to beat the heat and not end up building it in July.

That’s the truth. I was out there weekend before last for the turkey opener and it is horrible looking.

No doubt! Of course anthrax is always a concern in that country. I think we still have a little time to catch some rain, but not too much. Obviously Mother Nature is going to do what she’s going to do regardless of what I hope for.
