Just bought a springfield hellcat osp and wanting to get a red dot. I’ve never owned a red dot on a pistol before, have one on a .22 that is fun to shoot. I’m not sure what size moa would be best, some are 3.5 to 4 and others are 8. I know size can help with accuracy and all but looking for advice. Thanks in advance.

My rule of thumb is pistols get larger dots 3.5 or 4 for faster accusation and rifles get 1 or 2 for better accuracy at longer ranges.Comment

I run a 1 moa RMR on a duty gun. Practice, Practice, practice. I've shot 3.5 and can't tell a huge difference in drawing and getting sight picture. I practice draw cycles when I leave the house and again when I get home
