Lamco low and throw

Picked up a 600lb yesterday. Does anyone throw protein pellets out of theirs? Seems like most don’t do well with pellets curious if it’s the same with this feeder.

I don’t throw protein pellets on the ground ever. I have a Lamco trough feeder for protein. The funnel, spinner, and motor is the same as far as I can tell. It may work, but I wouldn’t recommend it

I wouldn't throw pellets out of any feeder without a shroud around it like their timed protein feeder or the Allseasons timed protein feeder to protect the pellets from the elements. I have Low and Throws and wouldn't attempt it.
