Lopez is a great place. Been going there since ~1980.

Their newer place is just a tough atmosphere (especially for noise).

The Eduardo’s I mentioned reminds me of Lopez in the early years. And just as good.

Another sneaker place in the area is Live Oak Grill.

Perry's is top tier food, but top dollar and pretty high class.

Im a fan of Razzoo's, pretty good cajun food and a nice atmosphere.
