There is an earlier thread, if you didn't see it. This is an update, for those that said keep us posted.
Calf was born 13 days ago.
The cow and calf were at my friend's place where he has nice pens and a squeeze shoot. We were able to mile the cow three times. They she became just about impossible to bet back in chute even with a hot shot. Plus she was taking damage each time, so I brought them home.
While there we fed the calf with a tube, and once it took a bottle. It got a tiny bit stronger.
I brought the cow and calf home and put them in a pen. The calf does not nurse from the cow, unless its doing it when I am not around and not much in any case. I believe none. We have kept the calf alive by force feeding twice a day. A 3 pint bottle in the morning and again in the afternoon.
It has not gotten bigger, still seems like skin and bone, but physically it is a bit stronger as it fights us a little as we drench it.
We have given it mulit-min, probiotic, and LA200 a few days ago.
I feel like it is probably a lost cause, but not ready to give up just yet as it is not getting worse but staying the same.
Headed to Tractor Supply for supplies in a few minutes.
Of course always open to suggestions and opinions, that is why I come here.
Thanks for all the earlier help.
