Thinking about a trip down there this summer and I have never been on the Guadalupe. Thought I'd ask you guys recommendation on places to stay on the river for 10-12 people and what float trip to take, who to use, etc.? Appreciate the info.

We stay here, you can walk to gruene, and the tube outfitter, also close
to Town. Can hear the music playing at gruene hall from your porch.

There’s literally a tube place every .25 mile and any kind of place you could want to stay at from new braunfels all the way up to canyon lake.Comment

What age group will the kids be? I ask because if they’re young, they will get a very quick education on everything you may not want them to know or hear quite yet. If you want to beat the drunks and idiots on the float, the earlier in the day the better. If you want the party scene, then stay pretty much anywhere on River Rd. One weekend, in my younger days, we had a strip club staying a couple camping spots over from our group. They did in fact set up a floating pole that went down the River……..Comment
