    It’s hot today. My axis herd hasn’t been hitting the feeder until 7:00. Hope they show for you.

      I get pictures of axis at all times of the day. Probably more between 10 - 2 than any other time.

        They have been coming in shortly after the feeders drop. Not today though.

          Axis just might be one of the most frustrating things to hunt over a feeder. But one of the funnest to spot and stalk peak rut!

                        Finally!! Just a whitetail doe.

                        I've had axis just plow into this setup without a care in the world. I've had them sneak in. I've had them stand and stare to only leave. I've had them fail to show altogether. Weird creatures.

                              If they are coming everyday religiously and then they miss a day that you just happen to hunt I'm thinking they caught you coming in. Still have a little time left, hopefully they creep in before dark.
