    Sprayer Issue

The sprayer in the picture works great as long as the tank is over half full. Below half full and the pump looses suction when I go up or downhill. Any suggestions for modifications that will avoid this (other than not going on hills).

No picture, but is there a suction tube broke off inside?

Tank must be on a trailer? We had to raise our tank up on on our small rig due to the same issue. I just built a leg frame to get the bottomn of the tank up level with the PTO pump since we are using bigger tractors.

I guess a picture would be helpful. It's in the bed of my SXS.

Suction tube goes all the way to the bottom but gets uncovered on an incline.

I’m gonna bet it’s something with the pick up tube

Baffles but it would be hard to install. Maybe a sponge type material to keep it around the pickup

That's strange. Has to b something wrong. I have a cheap 15gal sprayer from Harbor Freight that the pump will suck the tank almost completely dry.

X2. Sounds like it’s pulling air, I’d check for a hole about mid level.

I guess that’s possible but it works great on level ground.

                            Sounds like your sucking air.

Replace the section of hose from your pump to the intake strainer. It’s sucking air on that tube.
