    Calling all ford technicians

I’ve got a 2014 f150 with 5.0 coyote. I’ve had it for 6 months and it has been great. I recently started it and it threw a code p0976 right off the bat. “Shift solenoid B control circuit low.” I cleared the code and it instantly came back. It puts itself into limp mode. Truck has 120,000 miles and has shifted great since I’ve owned it. Google and YouTube doesn’t show much on this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated

You need to get a new solenoid sir. Also, the later model 5.0s have an intake issue (had multiple crack).

There's a recall on those trucks for the lead frame. They extended the coverage to 10 years and 150,000 miles on them. I would bet that's your problem and the dealer should fix it for free (if they can get the part).
