    Bird ID?

    Are these purple Martins? Sorry for the picture quality they are through some binos…

    I bet I have 25 or more at the bird feeders right now

                  Make good targets. Females lay their eggs in other birds nest and the baby cowbirds push the others out or out eat them.

                    Decent pellet gun will do the trick

                      As a general rule, you won't find martins landing in trees, especially multi-branched trees like that and for sure not trees that have green foliage.
