Tornado confirmed SE of Madisonville

Saw a guy I used to be in the oil and gas business with posting yesterday on social media. He's in Crockett area and that Tornado went right over his place and threw his 40' conex across the highway, tore his house all up, both his barns are completely gone, destroyed his tractor, killed/hurt several of his cows and he couldn't find his ski boat at all. Pretty eye opening the amount of damage those things can do.

I drove right past it yesterday were it crossed 287 and it was a mess. Saw the conex thrown over the highway. There was a convenience store that took a direct hit across the street from your buddies. It crossed 21 a couple times looked like.The storm damage bounced around back west 10-15 miles. There was a house with no roof and a mobile home leveled that far west. It stayed on the ground awhile.

From talking to two relatives near you I’m confident your place is fine but hasn’t had power since the storm. Coop told them to expect 3-5 days without power.

Thanks for the info. Work permitting im gonna ride up there with dad tomorrow and see. He said they got 3" of rain during the storm. It was pretty dry when I went to feed last so I'm sure the ground took it all
