The Round Rock Police Chief said that Kalahari had a gas leak and that was it as far as damage goes. He also stated that Kalahari was cleared to let the guest move around as there was no structure damage done.

I went and checked on a friends house last night between the storms, and I got to see a lot of the damage in Round Rock. It missed my friend's house.

Nature, in it’s raw and most violent form, has a way of reminding us how small and insignificant we are in the most humble of ways.

Glad nobody you know was injured.

I live in Siena and missed us. I got a lot of text messages asking if we were ok.

Hope everyone is safe. South Austin was spared last night. Seeing the pictures from Round Rock this morning on the news was crazy.

Yes was right by me. The person filming from Dell is about 1/4 mile away.

Sounds good. If you ever need someone to check on her or help her let me know.

What a day! It got cars at Kalahari, but the building looks alright. Housing through the path are destroyed. Never seen well built homes get destroyed along with big trees and power poles snapped like twigs! Still lots of pick up, helping our neighbors and non less rebuilding homes for months!

We dodged the one that was in Jarrell and then headed to eastern Bell County. It went east of us, but trash is everywhere and the wind/dust/rain was swirling bad last night!

Hope the ones with damage was minimal and no injuries!

I got knicked by one of the Jarrell tornadoes.
Lost 3/4 of the sheet metal roof, 3 doors, several windows, some siding, the big oaks took quite a beating.
Pasture has a bunch of trash in it now.
I'm looking for a good contractor to fix all the above.
Wife and I ran to an interior closet and it was all over in 15-20 seconds. What a mess.

Glad you had no injuries. It got scary here for a little bit. We hunkered in an interior bathroom NE of you in eastern Bell County.
