Maybe a horizontal stabilizer full up or down and stuck?

I saw that Boeing show on Netflix. What they did was completely wrong just so the pilots wouldn’t need to be pulled for one week and trained how to mitigate that problem. Sent both those planes and all the souls into a crater in the earth. Boeing should have gone to prison for that…the top officials that new of the grave danger.

Would the black box survive that impact?

Why? Everything was fine... what’s the issue?

Like crossing the street, or driving a car, or... literally everything.

For me to drink enough to now worry about flying I'd have to drink at least a couple quarts of whiskey.... at least that much. I hate flying.

When I went to Roatan back in '81, we landed on the mainland and changed planes. We got on an old DC-3 with a goat tied up at the back of the cabin and about half the people holding live chickens. We sat there for a while and then here comes a '64 Chevy p/u and jumped the plane off with jumper cables. Pilot hit the gas and across the ocean we went.

I’m a flight attendant at a major airline, and that was the first instinct of my captain the morning the video came out.

The issue is the video makes it look like the aircraft is intact, but to descend 30,000+ feet in 90 seconds you would be literally ripping control structures off. Not to mention maintaining a nose down dive at those airspeeds would be very hard to do.

Being a Chinese airline crashing within China, we will probably never know.
