South wind carried it north. Drought has this area dry as a powder house
Been thinking of you in all this mess Clay. What are you hearing about the Hideout?

We were hauling out livestock and horses out of there yesterday. My son in law and daughter were at their lease when the fire started right next to their place. The flames were 30 feet high and about 100 yards from their house. We got the horses, livestock and dogs out. By the time my daughter and son in law rushed home, the police had the road blocked and wouldn’t let them through. The roadblock was by their house and my son in law begged the cops to let him go get his big truck. It’s his lively hood. They were practically in front of the house and the cops were not going to budge so my SIL said screw this and walked on through the roadblock. One of the cops drew his gun on my SIL and threatened to shoot him. “Then shoot me in the back MF”, and he kept going. A supervisor was called and he allowed my son in law to recover his big truck and his pickup as well as important papers.
Tensions were pretty high yesterday.
Is it even legal for a cop to do that?
