      Some make it and others don't. That pen/fence is pretty tall.

          We pulled them of 52 inch barbed wire fences. Our biologist called them lazy deer...

            Yep, that sucks all right.

            Everything is so bone dry here now all the critters are flocking to the feeders too. I’m glad I don’t have to have pens on my place.

              I’ve always hated pens for this very reason. Unfortunately it’s a necessity because of hogs and other detrimental species. Mine are only 36 inches tall to keep the hogs out. So far they’re working.

                  Looks like a 48-50" panel to me. Should be Easy-peasy to a bonified whitetail.

                        We had to use 50” tall panels on one lease I hunted due to goats since they will jump hog panels. After our target buck died the same way one Labor Day weekend we started making them at least 12 panels which gave them space to jump the higher panels. This helped some but still would find a doe now and then.
