Now that’s funny! Saw one of these, the flying feathered kind, buzzing around my backyard yesterday in Grapevine.

Shot 5 today. Anyone have any good recipes? I didn't know there was a season until this thread popped up. I've been watching a couple live videos on YouTube of nests. Those things are tiny. I haven't seen any birds here at the house, but my mom saw one yesterday at her house a few miles away from me.

I've had mine out for a week. Have not seen any hummers but about 1/3 of the sugar water is gone. May be from evaporation? Don't know how quickly it evaporates from the feed tubes

Nuthin' here yet!! I thought for sure this past week with the pretty weather that sat in after the rain/front moved through early in the week that I'd have birds by now... Trouble is, around my place, there are very few succulent flowers blooming yet. Spring just seems to be coming so late this year. The honey suckle that's usually got the whole area smelling sweet is not even blooming yet...
On a side note though, the berry blooms are abundant! Short of a late freak frost, we should have a bumper crop of dewberries to go along with my thornless blackberries!! Gonna be berry cobbler and jelly time before too long!!

Have seen a couple for the past 2-3 weeks however my feeder is still sitting in a box waiting. Hail 2 weeks ago = new roof. So I’m waiting until after that is done to put it out. No sense in it getting knocked around by falling shingles.
