I am a larger man (6'2", 48" chest and 40" waist. I want to pick up a Sitka Core Lightweight hoody for turkey season, but don't know what size to get. Normally I wear a XL in most clothes, though some of the newer "athletic" cut I go up to a XXL. Anyone have any experience in this area? Thanks in advance.

100% on how you like things to fit. It's an adjustment going from traditional fitting clothes to say Kuiu or Sitka. I found First Lite to be "more traditional" fitting based on my experience.
I suggest going to retail store carrying Sitka and trying on everything they have to get your size. That, or simply use return policy (they are all good)!Proud member since 1999

If you aren’t dead set on Sitka, I bought a Kuiu Gila Hoodie and wear it all the time. They fit somewhat looser than most the athletic type camo clothing out there. It’s super light and feels better than any fishing type shirt I’ve ever worn.
I’m 6’ 220# and their XL fit me perfect. I do have 2xl in their jackets and pants I size up one size ex. 36 inch waist but get the 38 and they are loose but perfect leg room and wear a light weight Velcro belt.
