Got any advice on where to go to get a windshield replaced on an F150? Had a small rock chip that grew across the entire windshield with the recent temperature changes and want to get it replaced. Any body got any advice on where to go ?

I just had my replaced and quotes were between $850-$1100 as they had to recalibrate the stupid safety system. I probably should have found a shop that would have done the glass only, but I followed their rules.Comment

If you are needing a cheap option, I had a F-150 windshield replaced at Affordable Auto Glass (713-774-5277) at Hillcroft & 59 for about $150. Plain jane windshield with no "smart" features. That was a couple years ago.Comment

Some places will sell you a used windshield for a lot less. Worth asking about.Comment
