Asking for prayers for my wife

Sunday afternoon my wife got a call that nearly killed her. She was told her oldest son was found deceased in his bed at home. So far no foul play. He did have a medical issue. But waiting to here from coroner. He was only 25 yr young. Her life has been torn to shreds. She needs all she can get. Thanks....

Sure sorry this has happened. I have lived that nightmare and it ain't easy! Only thing that got my wife and me though it was to lean on God. He sent the right people to minister to us at exactly the right time...
You stick close to your wife during this time. She will need you CLOSE. If you have a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, pray out loud with her and let her hear the name of Jesus; not just once or twice, but all the time... Reach out to her friends and ask for help. Ask them to come to her, comfort her and just "be there"... DO NOT let her be alone! Love on her and be ABSOLUTELY sure she knows just how important she is to you.


Lord God in Heaven, we ask you to comfort this blended family in this great hour of tragedy. Show them Your boundless love for them. Put the right people in their lives to bring comfort and direction as they go through the terrible time of decision making and final arrangements for their son. Stay close to them Lord and give this mother strength to see You and endure this terrible tragedy and in due time begin the healing process of the great wound that is in their hearts. Lord their moanings right now are too great for words. Let Your Spirit intervene for them for their pleas for peace. We Love You Lord and in the name of your Son Jesus we ask for guidance and comfort, Amen.
