If you want to fish Fork or Palestine I recommend Todd Froebe, known on here as Slew. Look up the 2022 crappie get together thread. He stays booked, call him quickly !

Lake Conroe may be a bit of a drive for you but Hooker Harwell can put you on some slabs!

Book a trip with Bill Harwell, Lake Conroe's PREMIER night time guide service

We are about to book our annual trip with him.

Fork would be about the closest I get to you but it’s worth it. I have some weekdays available in April and I think a weekend the end of May left.

My son and i just did a trip with Jerry Hancock last week. Doubt he has an opening but may get a cancel. Best crappie guide on fork (imo) and great fellow to boot. 214-544-3678.Click image for larger version

Check with Marty Thomas (Buff on TBH). Pull up his Facebook page: Lake O the Pines Crappie Fishing. You won't be disappointed!

OP where do you want to go? That would narrow it down some! Lots of good suggestions here.
