    Hardwire Weboost

Has anyone hardwired a Weboost? I got tired of that big pear burner antenna getting knocked off and bought a 3rd brake light with NMO connector and NMO weboost antenna. I want to hardwire it so everything is clean.

I'm assuming it's as simple as using a fuse tap?

Not sure I understand your question.
Sounds like you had a stiff hardwired antenna, and you are asking about the smaller more flexible antenna's capability/quality?

No, I'm asking about hard wiring vs. Using the cigarette lighter connection. I want to hardwire the power and can I just use a fuse tap? I think I can as that's how they do the dashcams.

Seems like you just need a constant hot wire and use something like this…
