Live oak county minimum acreage to hunt?

Just to be clear I'm already aware that state of Texas doesn't have a minimum acreage by law-

They leave it up to each individual county....
That said has anyone called live oak or have solid proof of the common 10 acre minimum?

Thx for sticking to the main question here

I can answer this or believe I can. I was recently assisting a client in a “home with land to hunt on” purchase and we concluded that Live Oak county was under the 10 acre minimum rule. All the surrounding counties were also. Ataascosa, McMullen, Wilson and Karnes counties

Game wardens don't get to make up their ow rules/laws.

Another stupid over step of our government ,there's no reasonable excuse not to allow bow hunting on properties less than ten acres just another way to keep poor people from being able to hunt, guy buys 5 acres and is is told he can't legally kill his deer and feed his family total BS

When I lived in McMullen county, I’d never heard of anyone in town for that matter not slinging lead at anything that moved they wanted dead.

A few slung arrows and never had any issue with SO or the Game Wardens.

Same goes for my buddies that live in Three Rivers and George West. Maybe things have changed since then though.

Last time I looked at the law it was less that 10 acres in a platted type subdivision.

A game warden is unable to enforce anything other than state laws.

go here think it explains it pretty good

Its up to said countys Commisioner's Court. Please contact your county clerk for your county regulations if any. In Colorado County I have shot deer on 5 acre tracts.

I always thought it was the discharge gun/bow/projectile they can regulate. Not the hunting. The state regulates hunting. So, by making discharge laws, they in essence stop hunting.

It took some digging but I read it on a few county websites.
