My current batch is sour chopped corn. It works like a champ. It's 2 years old and still stinky.

Range cubes are just as good, easier to handle and store……no stink !

Never heard of that stuff, sounds interesting

We used to age it in 5 gallon buckets when we left the deer lease each time. When we came back after it had been sitting in the hot sun for a couple of weeks we would pour it all over and around the hog traps and they would find it overnight.

Never thought about using it for hogs. I’ll make a batch for that

I quit using it quite a few years ago. Range cubes are so much easier and cleaner and work just as well (maybe better) in my opinion.

I tried range cubes a couple of times on lake Georgetown but no luck.
How long does it need to sit before fishing?

How exactly do you deploy/employ the range cubes and catch catfish? Thanks for entertaining my stupid question.

Range cubes are good but no way better than maize! I have used both and have for years! Range cubes take longer to start dissolving and bring in the fish. Maize works way faster in my experience.
