super smart move. congrads. consider starting some cardio if the knees are in good shape. start jogging 1/2 mile as often as possible and work your way up. You'll be surprised how much better you feel

Good for you. Keep up the battle and you will win. I smoked for about 7 years back in the late 60's early 70's. I went to chewing for about 5 years and quit that. I also quit drinking at the same time. Surprising it was easy to quit those bad habits. I know that I would not be alive today if I had not quit.

Good for you, brother. It gets easier. After chewing from the age of 14 until 45, I have been tobacco free for 5.5 years. Remind yourself how much better you feel and how much money you're saving!

Great news! Now keep on keeping on. Been chewing tobacco free for 12ish years myself if my memory serves me correctly.

At today's prices, I certainly would have quit if I didn't do it earlier. Stuff has gotten ridiculous!
