    I would email the new email address. If it's a scam it'll become obvious from there. More than likely, you'll get some story about payment. That's when you'll know it's a scam.

                    Not a scam, more of a hustle.
                    When they ask you to email them to another address they are fishing for your personal email. Once they have it they pass it along and usually sold in a list for advertising or other nefarious folks who will attempt to hack your email account or any other account associated with that email like PayPal or similar.
                    The craigslist email will hide your actual email.
                    Sad but same is true when asked for phone number also
