Back in 2016 I had an angiogram with stents put in. I'm going in again on March 7. I asked my doc what the recovery time is so I can make arrangements at work. She said about 3 days to heal up and return to work is when I feel like I'm able. How much time do y'all think I will need? The first time it was at the Christmas holidays and I had time off mixed in. I work in a machine shop and put a strain on things pretty often.

I just had a heart attack on Feb 10th. Had a stent in my right artery to clear 100% blockage. I felt like a million bucks the next day. I was back at work (desk job) the following Monday. I am getting my second stent this Friday. I have lost some of my stamina but that is mostly from the damage to my heart during the attack. Doc says damage was minimal so I should get mine back rather quickly. Good luck!

It depends.
If they use the radial artery in your wrist, usually very soon, like next day.
If they use the femoral artery in your groin, you're gonna want to take it pretty easy for a couple of days.
Radial sites are almost always free of complications. Femoral sites can pop after a day or two(although not nearly as common as it was 10-15 years ago).
If they deploy stents or balloon anything, listen to the doctor. Recovery will be based on what he found when he was in there poking around.
