    Pipeline ROW Question

I am looking to build a house on a property that has an existing gas line running through the property. Currently I have the shop 150' from the line and the house 240' from the line. Should this cause an issue in the future? I see online it says most pipeline ROWs are 30' but I cannot really find anything stating a distance a house should be built away from a pipeline. Any info helps. Thanks.

Right of way or “easement” should be shown on your survey. Legally you are good as long as you don’t build in/on/over the easement. How close you want to be to it is up to you. That said you should definitely have a surveyor out to do a form board survey prior to pouring foundations to make sure you know exactly where you are building in relation to any/all easements and setback requirements

This. Ours has a 30 ‘ row on it with two signs that mark the actual pipe. Those two signs have the companies name and number on them. Good luck getting someone to respond.
