Camping the Guadalupe

Looking to take the family camping at the Guadalupe river this spring. Looking for more of private / primitive feeling camping vs commercial crowded stuff. Any ideas?

If not the Guadalupe, not opposed to trying some other locations. We’ve done Canyon of the Eagles at Buchanan and enjoyed it also. Thanks! Pic for attention ha!

We've stayed at both Gypsy River and L&L campgrounds. Would recommend both.

Spring on the Guad is going to be anything but private. With that said the only place that comes to mind is the Guadalupe River State Park.
