                  No quail here for years and coyotes put me out of the sheep business so I will leave them alone unless the start being a problem.

                            So much truth to Shane’s comment. Several years ago in Hebbronville I watched a bobcat work in and out of the brush on a freshly corned sendero stalking rabbits. I thought. He completely went around 3 different rabbits trying to get to a covey of quail that was feeding closer to me. He never got the quail but gave it a heck of a try. Wasn’t interested in the rabbits at all at the time.
