    chainlink price

I need to add 200 feet of 4ft chainlink fence to the inlaws house. Fist bid was $21 per foot. Seemed a little high. Anyone have any recent prices for the DFW area. the project is in Burleson. Getting another bid on Wednesday... any insight to prices would be much appreciated.

    thanks.

$4K for 200 feet of chain link fence?? Wow, that seem quite a bit high but I wonder how much materials for this project run?

Are you asking for a concrete “curb” under the fence??

No. Just a simple 4 ft chain link fence, about 196 feet. Thought is was high. Was expecting about $13 per foot, but was just wondering if this was the new prices for chain link.

I had 70' of welded galvanized post fence built last year. That was $25 a foot, and the builder said chain link would have been the same due to higher material cost but slightly lower labor. Everything is crazy expensive these days. $21 a foot doesn't seem too bad...

200' of 4' chain link normal specs 11 gauge fabric 1 5/8 top rail standard residential grade should be around $1600 in materials that is everything including the concrete for the post.

I had 200 ft of chain link fence built in fall 2020 for about $4K. I got one bid that was $6500. Doesn't sound to bad to me.

The materials have gone through the roof over the last year. I have built fence on the side for about 15 years and $13 per ft was the going price 10 years ago. Last fence I did, I got the materials list together and in a month the fabric alone went up $20 a roll.

Looks like $22 per foot is the new norm. Just had no idea... thanks for help.

If you aren't too concerned about whether it is new or old fence, I will make you a good deal on chainlink fence, posts, and top rail if you want to do it yourself. I am not sure how much I have but I got three or four rolls that I got from a buddy a few years ago that is laying in my pasture. May have to buy a few parts from Lowes.
