Cooks in Ft Worth is closer, I'd be there now and I would think they could call you with the results. Based on the service you've gotten so far, why give them another chance?

Our daughter was flown to dell childrens in Austin. Nothing but good things to say about them. The dr. For her emergency procedure was great. Literally met us outside the door as we drove up to tell us he was operating and to trust him and he needed to get to work. Afterwards everything went flawless. Not sure it’s applicable in your situation but our troublesome experience was nothing but excellent on the hospital end.

        Prayers to your family

Cooks in Ft Worth is the same for Ronald Mcdonald house...or at least it used to be. My ex stayed there with my son for almost a year when he had leukemia.

If you make it to Houston, I will gladly run a hot meal to you, your boy, and who ever else is with you.

I hope you don't need to make it down though, and I pray that the condition can be resolved where you are at.

As others have said Texas Childrens in Houston. Been with their pediatricians since 2010. Won't trust anyone else. They did my daughters surgery in 2011 and when my newborn son got an infection in 2012, we were living in Denver at the time and the doctors had no answers, my wife insisted they call our pediatricians back here in Houston and consult. She refused any treatments without their recommendations. 2 weeks at Denver Children's and my wife and son came home healthy.

                    Prayers up for your family.

Quick and accurate diagnosis, rapid and effective treatment, and on our way back home quicker than I would have imagined.

If this is serious enough that you are reaching out to a bunch of bowhunters, Pack your bags and head south right now. I would not stop at one of the Texas Childrens satellite locations. Go straight to ground 0 in the Med Center. You do not have wait for a specialist. They have plenty. 21 of the best hospitals in the world packed with the best medical personnel in the world

Yeah, I’d say Cooke’s in Ft Worth before Houston. UTSW/Childrens Dallas has the same docs as Plano. I would also go to Med City Dallas before Children’s Plano or Dallas.
