    Custom ammo?? Who to contact?

Got a rifle built for a international hunt.. Scope will be here next week.. Now to find some ammo. Willing to buy 6-8 boxes of ammo once I find the right load.. Any custom loader you guys suggest..

I found the round I am wanting to try in stock with one company but they have horrible reviews.. So im nervous to even try one box from them.

I am pulling my remaining hair out myself online shopping for primers, power, brass, bullets for my 270 and 300WM to reload 100 for each.

Practically impossible to find parts now....total joke with some showing 11-14 back orders.

I use copper creek but they have had almost nothing in stock lately. Dallas reloads is another option.

Dallas reloads, but you are gonna have a wait.

This^ Had them build out a load for my 300 win mag to match hornady ammo I have been shooting in it… groups went from below 1/4” to touching at 100

Dallas Reloads is unlikely to have any components in stock from what I have seen. Copper Creek has a little of everything but they’re expensive. I have some Copper Creek and it’s fantastic other than price

You really need to find somebody local to you and develop a load for the rifle. Trying to order is going to be hit or miss. I took my cargo trailer with a loading bench in it to the range with me when I was developing a load for my Ruger Precision. Once I found what it likes, I feed it exactly that.

I used Hendershots for my 6.5 Remington mag. Great ammunition but expensive, I didn’t complain about the price since the brass I found was about the same price as their loaded ammunition

im not real worried about price.. I just need to find a good load before I order multiple boxes.. I won the hunt and I hope to only shoot one critter with this rifle. so ammo price is very low on the scale.

What rifle and what cartridge is it chambered for? I’m just curious.

They have a few in stock depending on what you are wanting. Used them in the past for 7-08 and 308, and have quick shipping. Only issue is once you find a box that it like you will struggle to find it again maybe in same brass and load.

I would choose a fast 7 if it were my hunt. I’m looking forward to following your trip. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for quite awhile.

Hendershots is who I used for my .280ai and I was extremely pleased.

I used Copper Creek for my 7mm wby and would use them again also.

I would choose whichever of the two has the most desirable projectile available.
